Duftbraeu is situated on the gentle high plateau of the mountain ”Samerberg” high above Inn valley and lake Chiemsee and offers a spectacular view to the Bavarian alpine upland. As it is said that Bavarian clocks tick the other way round, time is running differently here. Although we are only a few minutes drive from the autobahn A8, it seems that stress and hecticness were left behind down in the valley.

Duftbraeu is a small extra world, simply a ”small piece of Bavaria”: The chapel, the animals on the pastures, the rustic gastronomy area with the ”Braeustube” lounge, the naturally designed children´s playground ”Gaudi-Alm”, the warm hospitality of the host family Wallner and last but not least the „Duftbraeu-Stadl” building complete the harmonious overall picture.
